COVID-19 Vaccinations
25 Mar 2021
Ontario is currently in Phase 2 of the COVID-19 Vaccination Plan. Phase 2 includes the vaccination of populations based on:
- age
- risk due to:
- health conditions
- congregate settings
- hot spots (areas with higher rates of death, hospitalization and transmission)
- not being able to work from home
People ages 18 to 49, in hot spot communities, are eligible for vaccination dependent on their residential postal code. Eligible individuals in identified hot spots must not book through the provincial booking system, instead, mobile and pop-up clinics are being promoted locally by community partners and public health units.
