Understanding Yourself to Lead Others
Through this session participants will gain an understanding of the importance of self-awareness and how to grow and develop this skill. Understanding yourself is an essential capability that a successful leader must have. Leaders should first look at themselves to understand what strengths and areas for development they possess. Once a leader becomes self-aware, they may use this competency to grow their skills and abilities. Using tools and activities, participants will gain a better understanding of what it means to be self-aware and how to create a leadership vision. Self-awareness also contributes to an individual’s emotional intelligence, which allows leaders to better relate to and understand their teams.
